did you know ICANN eventually approved fedi-dedicated TLDs for every big piece of fedi software?

.md is used for Mastodon instances, .pl stands for Pleroma, .mk is dedicated to Misskey and .fr means Friendica

we hope ICANN will come to the conclusion of approving .ak and .ff TLDs for Akkoma and Firefish respectively very soon!

you can only use these TLDs for Fedi instances or else the domain name could be taken away and donated to poor people who want to set up their instance been t can’t afford a domain name

also, markdown is abbreviated as .md in hope Gargron would feel the need to implement markdown in Mastodon during to this peer pressure!
