Racist family outing:
On the ferry to Toronto Island this morning, a (white) dad and ~10 yr old daughter were waiting with bikes to disembark.
Ferry crew (brown) asked him to please get off his bike and walk.
Dad is first sarcastic and then irate:
- “For my safety? That’s bullshit.”
- “Do you know who I am?! Do you know what I do for a living?!”
- “They’re taking over our country!”
- “Safe and effective!”
Yelled those statements repeatedly.

Donald Trump will soon be free to start selling off more than $2 billion in shares he holds in the company that controls his social media platform Truth Social. That stake makes up over half of his $4.5 billion net worth.
He will be able to sell as early as Sept. 20 when the lockup period is set to expire. If Trump sells shares, he will have to report it in a filing with the SEC within two days.
