Adopting a religion means willingly suspending your critical thinking. While beliefs can be peaceful, groups of people with suspended critical thinking often mutate into mobs gathered around a leader who figured out how to exploit them. For healthy society, it's best to regard religious groups with light ridicule and don't codify anything regarding religion into laws. Confronting religious groups usually makes them more popular, as religious people will more likely double down on their beliefs than rationally submit to law enforcement. Thus, it's important to ridicule religious people early, when they still maintain some link to outside world.

It's kind of funny in retrospect that the programming language whose mantra was "There Should Be Only One Way To Do It" featured two separately maintained, incompatible, versions of itself for 11 years.

As much as I favor minimalism, scrot is _not_ the tool to use for making screenshots. Let's be honest: how often do you share a screenshot to boast about your beautiful desktop appearance vs to draw the attention to something particular, such as when making a bug report?

Quick and dirty annotation tools should be built-in, unless you are a graphomaniac and writing long-winded explanations makes you happy - which is why I prefer flameshot (https://github.com/flameshot-org/flameshot)
