Today has been a long political piece of shit. Although I am not effected by the funding shutdown(s), after 20 years in public health at the local level, I know the needs. A rusty nail (Drambuie & scotch) and bed for me....
So, seeing this fellow at the Waffle House on the regular. I'm an old fart so coffee and a cheep breakfast are on the schedule. I need to suggest Marcus Aurelias to him as an old E8 to expand his horizon....
@HelenBranswell Helen, love your work. The pause has only made my awareness more difficult. I have always appreciated the MMWR during my 20 yr military career, and my 20 yr PH career. But I also follow most states health departments, major schools of PH, and major metropolitan PH departments. Let us not forget other region/county PH organizations.....I'll get the info with a little more legwork.
