I'm ending the experiment where my server group played on Bedrock. The parity issues were too annoying. I've commented on it elsewhere. For this run, we will use reddit.com/r/minecraftseeds/co which also gives details on how to find one's own particular wonderful seed to start with.

For this, no plugins EXCEPT for Floodgate and GeyserMC so my nephew can play as well as, hopefully, our grandkids. We shall see how that pans out. No data-packs, no recipes. Honor system, no Fabric mods or other mods. As pure a vanilla experience as we can get. Let the challenge begin!

Bedrock is really chaffing my undies. Comparator reads a dropper with items, powers on correctly. Comparator *should* power an observer to power a piston raising the observer. When the observer is manually placed, the observer clock works and powers soul sand. I could test to see the powered soulsand correctly pulses the dropper, but I'm getting cranky and tired.

What I need is a way to empty a dropper through soulsand for a tile-able item water elevator. I keep getting burnt on issues. And I have to wonder if Redmond simply doesn't give a damn about Bedrock gameplay for normal things works the same. Hell, maybe the one from Java uses QC. But I'm running out of room to care, and I'm tired of getting burnt with Bedrock.

Jeffrey Freeman to me:

STEM enthusiast is fine too.. As long as you aren't a flat earther or something stupid and you just want to chat STEM you are most welcome (you can talk about anything though too).

Cool! That's the primary thing I want to do. I also enjoy some political talk, although I'm horribly cynical about politics in general. I play with my wife, currently Bedrock although I'm more familiar with Java. Ark Survival Evolved and , although we tend to focus on only one specific game for some months at a time until we move on. My Supernatural-Detector-Thingy is broken, so I'm unable to work with supernatural concepts personally. Enough about me for now, I look forward to seeing who I will meet here!
