What is consciousness? What is intelligence?

Over the millennia the ink spilled on these two words have produced more smoke than mirrors making all the sturm and drang and pearl clutching and about “artificial intelligence” so incredibly laughable. AI has truly put the “hype” in hyperventilation.

I keep hearing media outlets using the term “wokeism”.

I have not heard once, not once, what the fuck that word means. Do you think maybe they could spend a three minute segment on defining it, and interviewing those in the know? Please oh please I would love journalism to do it’s duty to educate the public on the arcane language they use.

Not sure I understand how our domestic law enforcement agency and DOE are involved in determining the origin of a pandemic in a foreign country. Can anyone explain what skill set they bring to epidemiology? I’m really confused.
