I never really thought about the phrases "son of adam" and "daughter of eve" used in the Chronicles of Narnia until today when I randomly heard a similar phrase for about the second time ever

at which point it finally hit me that the purpose of the Narnia series might not actually have been to make anybody go learn about the bible as much as just to make people think Christian symbolism in art is vastly more common and a "default condition" of things than it actually is.
