@hansw @freemo @meneer I was never a Facebook/WhatsApp user. I have my own #xmpp and #matrix servers, so I installed conversations/element on my relative's devices. Oh, I also use #deltachat .

So far, #xmpp via #prosody is the lightest and fastest. I use OMEMO for encryption even the connections don't leave my own server.

@riku thanks, I discovered it just a few days ago on a PC, so I recalled that maybe that was the same thing for the macs. Now I like it, but is far from intuitive at first. I prefer to have the button, though.
