@kino Not wholly, no, of course not. But that is one effect that has been argued would (and has) result from inflation. The logic makes sense, hard to prove either way though due to the long slow nature of inflation when caused by this effect (if caused by it).
@kino That said, inflation aside, it has been trivally shown that higher minimum wage causes more harm to the least skilled workers, and thus has the opposite of the intended effect.
@ambulocetusThere is also a valid argument that a large part of the cause of inflation is having a minimum wage in the first place, which many argue devalues the dollar and thus makes poverty worse.
From that perspective this meme is an argument to lower minimum wage (and slowdown inflation) rather than to increase it.
