Out of curiosity, I searched on youtube "theory of evolution". Out of the first 20 results, 4 were about trying to prove that evolution is a myth, and it never happened.

Then I tried in Italian, "Teoria dell'evoluzione". 9 results of the first 20 were about "debunking" the theory of evolution.

I'm not sure this is related to my personal feed, but I found it interesting. It's almost half of the results in Italian!

We highly value freedom of speech, as an essential part of science, human interactions and personal development. We understand that some content may be perceived as disturbing, that is why we enforce the mandatory CW in such cases. Otherwise, anything is in general fine.

I don't think there can be a single good reason for shutting down an account and destroying all data without at least try to reach out to the user and give him the time to back up data.

@Simplyswapy I remember once I was in India, buying a sim card. I had to fill a form asking me a lot of stuff, like number from someone else as reference etc., so I just asked to guy "man, what's all this for? What do people do with the data?"

He must have thought I wanted to pull his leg, and got really angry with me and kick me out of the place.

I was so confused and frustrated... but I guess that data protection is not a really felt issue in India

@RunningInCircles@mstdn.io Sometimes my ITB used to hurt when I ran and such, so I tried the foamroll. I remember the first time, holy shit, who would have thought! It seems so relaxing from the videos, but I can confirm what you say, it's quite excruciating!

It got better after a while. I stopped using it there... for calves and upper back is just fine 😎
