The two tools that caused the most frustration were #ffmpeg and #jq.

Just was not able to extract the album cover and merge it into the m4a file. So that feature has been put on hold.

And with jq the test function did not like it when the values are equal, so had to default to using == when using select.

What #spotify playlist download tools exist?

Wrote a small #bash script that requires this setup

2. Export them using https://exportify.net/
3. Copy the link to the playlists and download the files via https://spotidl.com
4. Create a directory, add the media files, and the playlist's CSV file.
5. Run the script and possibly install the missing dependencies.

And converts the mp3 files from spotidl to m4a files and parses the metadata from the csv from exportify.

This past season foraged about 2 kg of #hazelnuts. Today did the float test to weed out the empty shells and the yield dropped down to a total of 20 nuts, which equates to about 3% success rate assuming they aren't empty.

Had the fun of upgrading #kivymd from 1.4 (latest #pypi version) to 2.0. Although there is no migration script the error messages while running #python suffice to understand the breaking changes and fix them.

Have an existing #python project that was setup using #pyenv and decided to migrate it to #uv. It doesn't help that I have 4 different virtual environment references and needed to build some of the libraries. Although the uv documentation has some examples on how to do it, there were a lot of bad practices on my side that I had to iron out.

Have to incorporate the #ssg #cli tool better into the workflow when pushing to #codeberg pages, because I did it again of pushing development to production. Luckily was able to ping the DNS and quickly saw the culprit.

I killed my #codeberg pages site by using the default branch name over `pages`.

Currently working on a #cli tool to aid in publishing #ssg sites onto #Codeberg pages.

It uses two #git repos over relying on #cicd with the production being saved on a git submodule. This will then ease the process of setting up custom domains.

It has the option to setup git hook pre-commit to prevent the development build to be published thus preventing the breakage of the site.

Currently it works with #hugo and plan to extend to other SSG tools.

Looking for a suitable name for the tool before publishing the code, any suggestions are welcome!

New to the #TimeShift app and made the initial mistake of taking a snapshot of the main user which in return took up more than 90% of the available space on the drive.

Later just took a snapshot of the root directory.

After an update on #Fedora 40 which includes a #Linux kernel improvement makes it that the boot gets stuck in the booting process.

Instead of debugging the issue, booted up the system and upgraded to Fedora 41 with no larger issues.

Trying out #Floorp and having trouble figuring out how to render a local #HTML file with #CSS in a separate file using a relative path.

It seems like Floorp is not a viable option for #WebDev.

Further learnt the strength of using a callback function for #javascript `String.prototype.replace()` function.

Might integrate it further towards the existing pattern's ruling and thereby reduce the current piecewise nature.

While debugging the issue, added the feature of skipping files that have no matches and thereby reducing the disk storage. In the example patterns array there are 20 items and in the last execution of the script only 17 of them were required.

While working on #pdf4anki integrated the feature of automatically adding opinionated #CSS with #cheerio to the initial #HTML file. This had the unknown side effect of destroying all the self-closing HTML tags, thus breaking the pattern matching.

The fun of taking apart the code to #debug this issue.

Sometimes one just cannot find the right #extension for the browser, only to realize that one already has one of the most powerful #addon (#greasemonkey) out there and with a little bit of #javascript magic, one can create the desired outcome.

A hypothetical scenario behind the anti seed oil movement is that the proponents are being bought off by various #lobbies. This would be seen if the profit margins of non seed oils is higher than seed oils.

Some examples of a non seed oil come from the #dairy industry and it seems in general that the global market size of dairy is many folds greater than for seed oils. Additionally, it seems like the dairy industry gets also many folds more subsidies than the seed oils industry. These both statements would confirm the original #hypothesis.

Though if in return the #subsidies
for the seed oils industry would increase, therefore providing the dairy industry with cheaper material, then it would create an increased profit margin. Thus questioning the original hypothesis if it is financially driven.

Alternatively, one could still explain it away as financially driven with the idea of having money now over having potentially more money tomorrow.
