If you're considering grad school in Portugal, don't forget to inquire about housing:

@josemanuel It's considered a reasonable wage by Portuguese standards, which are abysmal.
@josemanuel Salaries in Portugal are very low, and housing costs in the cities are not very different from any major European capital.
@cyrilpedia I thought we were similar in that regard, but that looked more like an Eastern Europe standard to me.
