Turns out that Adobe is collecting all of its customers' pictures into a machine learning training set.

This is opt-out, not opt-in so if you use Lightroom, for example, it defaults to adding all of your photos to the set.

If these are unpublished pictures, work-in-progress, etc. they'll still be analysed as soon as they're synced.

I've been using Lightroom to sync photos from my Windows desktop to my iPad. Now I need to reconsider that.

This is an unusual week in that I've had to drive to the town of Truro, Nova Scotia, at least 5 times, which is more than I usually do in a year. Truro is the hub of the province, which is to say the place most people drive by or stop at for gas a 'relief'.

Neither China nor the US have shown good judgement as of late. I think Canada or maybe Switzerland need to get the moon first.

It's quite remarkable actually. I'm not ready to delete my account yet since I want to see what comes of it all. But I've been on there 11 years and I have barely visited it in the past few weeks. There's simply more going on here.

I had the same realization. Nothing about the trailers looked appealing to me but the main character is so genuinely likeable.

My brother-in-law advertised for waitstaff at his tavern, the oldest, most well-known tavern in his region. Lots of people applied, 18 resumes were selected and interviews were lined up. 0 of the candidates showed up.
