American corporations even won the right to use "free speech" protection to be able to make donations to politicians, which leads to quid pro quo later of course. 😏

I think it's good if they are apart from other instances which have very different interpretations of what respect for others means, and don't apply the blanket coverage of an American law instrument to communities that extend all over the world.

Bolivia’s key reserves are in lithium, which is essential for the electric car. Bolivia claims to have 70 percent of the world’s lithium reserves, mostly in the Salar de Uyuni salt flats. The complexity of the mining and processing has meant that Bolivia has not been able to develop the lithium industry on its own. It requires capital, and it requires expertise.

The salt flat is about 12,000 feet (3,600 meters) above sea level, and it receives high rainfall. This makes it difficult to use sun-based evaporation. Such simpler solutions are available to Chile’s Atacama Desert and in Argentina’s Hombre Muerto. More technical solutions are needed for Bolivia, which means that more investment is needed."

Lo mejor seria se una compania Boliviana hizo la extraccion y purificaccion, mas diñero se quedando en Bolivia.

I have been visiting and looking at various places, reading what people say about the other instances and did visit the Gab site. Saw some posts that I find shocking, and many mentions of instances blocking their instances (there's more than one, some of different domain names that are affiliated)

@iamo That can end up in a lot of people getting hurt, as the State has the force and means to hurt people into submission, or at least try. 😔

@iamo Yes, it's a very worrisome situation. Bolivia is a poor country, landlocked and now with a vacuum at the very top. The Lithium deposits are huge and very valuable, an essential material for reachargeable batteries for all kinds of electronics and vehicles. That is a strategic resource.

Neighbouring Chile has huge protests and discontent on the streets too, reacting to massie inequality on income distribution there.

Found out the meaning of that -- it's that Musky does not block Gab.com, a domain that Tusky does not support connections to.
