@waltercool @Wearenotcattle well, unplanned pregnancy is one of the things leading into being poor. And (I think) pills are cheap enough so you can give them indiscriminately, without any procedure whatsoever, rape or no rape. I expect them to be cheaper than having to deal with adding more people to the poor (and crime, and waves of nasty stuff that's coming with it).

@waltercool @Wearenotcattle using taxes to fix mistakes can be okay if it is cheaper than dealing with consequences of not fixing them.

State: Nah, wouldn't buy you a pill, I'd better pay to raise the kid in an orphanage.

In some cases the govt should even commit to fixing mistakes right away and even pay for that.

This, of course, has consequences too and will generate an incentive structure.
