My PhD research is about modelling (intensive) longitudinal data, helping psychologists to find the right types of dynamic models, the between-within problem and how the methods we use, shape the way we theorise.

I am interested in understanding how transitions occur from non-diagnostic to diagnostic states, and how clinical processes unfold across time during treatment.

That is: how people become mentally ill & what exactly it is about psych treatments that helps them out of it (or fails to help)
