@casualwp i’m ashamed nobody coded those lists so they would appear either in very intuitive way or at least in usual settings menus under “privacy” or something πŸ˜‘

@timecrash I have waited such a looooong time to finally play Morrowind in HD, with tons of bugfixes, gamefixes etc etc etc. And only then it was a cool ride.
It’s kinda lame that the same applies to every other Bethesda game, lol.
Fallout 3 crashed all the time. Fallout 4 - unoptimized tortoise mess. Oblivion… wait, it was pretty good but 100500+ more fun with another 15 GB of mods. Skyrim - again tons of QoL mods required.

@theblessing I suspect nobody said to this person that usually cannibals are being killed on sight? :)
well, if they do get to hide behind a judge they can plead extreme survival situation, but it’s a long way from Africa.

I’ve happened to play Fallout76 for a couple of days straight, and it was such a great ride! Except, maybe, that confusing level-up dialogue - I’ve messed up my build two times already. Good thing one can rearrange points after level 50.
In other news, I was in such a good mood after Fo76 that I got caught in dangerous illusion about work conditions in russia.
It’s a very dangerous illusion! I was reminded of that when I politely suggested to my “agile, conforming, friendly and professional” “team” that maybe we could’ve agreed upon dinnertime and tried not to put any meetings in that time slot.
…oh boy was that a wrong decision.
I’ve got trashed in chat by same people which told me in private that they are sick of not getting to eat comfortably.
I’ve got trashed by management-in-team because they apparently don’t get to eat at all too and they were, err… proud of that. Also why does anyone get to eat if management does not? Yeah, right…
And today I’ll get trashed by my “agile, conforming and professional IT-lead” in private talk about “destabilization of work conditions at work”.
I do get the fact that not only in russia but in many places around the globe people are still being harassed, extorted and preyed upon as slaves for the Big Man/Company/whatever. It just hurts when you accidentally drop the shield of not believing in people, yknow.
Call me lawful good paladin one more time.

Welp, the only thing I can do, since we have no trade unions and such: live through trashing, and pull back all “good credit favours” I was agreeing to with people who are thrashing me now. They did a good work for half a year, so I’ve extended some favours and agreements with them.
Buuuut no “good credit” means no favours now.
And maybe I switch workplaces when summer comes anyway, it’s never a good idea to be in one workplace in russia more than 1-2 years, I guess.

Also finished listening to Wolf359, it’s a long-running sci-fi fiction podcast.
Great ride, great quality, the plot isn’t DEEEEP but character relations, pacing and acting is just wow.
I’d say 9/10, but just to reserve 10/10 for masterpieces which I’d want to listen to again and again.

Finished Tokyo Ghoul and Tokyo Ghoul :re.
It was messy story-wise since Yamori arc, and jumpy, and tons of characters I didn’t really connect with were introduced, killed, revived, killed again, sudden out-of-the-blue agenda changes, etc.
Art-wise it was a cool ride.
I dunno, overall I’d say it’s 1-time read and 6/10 at most.

@timecrash well, it doesn’t really matter which tool to use if Mac doesn’t support acceleration, since they all need that to work fast %)

@timecrash maybe Mac doesn’t support hypervisors and stuff to accelerate virtual machines?

Watched Dareka no Manazashi (short, beautiful, somewhat good story) and Koe no Katachi (wow that was nerve-wracking experience, but it’s good it’s not a Makoto S.-you-know-who movie, or it wouldn’t have that ending for sure O.o)
Reading Tokyo Ghoul and it’s kinda messy story, but good art style… but I dunno. At 10th volume it seems that mangaka’s brain switched from trying to build a world and telling a story into usual superhero tropes with a sprinkle of shock-gore.

I’ve bought Fallout 76 and had tons of fun, especially trying to sneak into Whitespring and move C.A.M.P. behind main building, near the mountain outcrop for easy trading access. Dat BATZ…

@theblessing got myself Sharp humidifier with something-something-Plasmacluster. They say - helps with humidity and dust too! O.o

Aww, I do like when the sun is pouring through the clouds too + godrays + small openings in clouds. :ablobattentionreverse: :ablobattention:

I’ve got the whole weekend to myself this time YAY. At last, good cola, Fallout 3 (TTW) and nothing else matters.
Well, it does matter around me, but I kinda tried to block everything at range since even my Mi Band started screaming about constant and high stress levels and lack of good sleep. And it’s basically a dumb pedometer, yknow.
Anyway, mind relaxation? Check. Room service, including dusting, by myself? Check! (I have access to home service lady for a pittance, but the quality is around 50% of what I can do; lady is reserved as last measure; I’d pay more for, like, 100% but she refuses…)
Healthy food all weekend? Eh, I fcked it up with Papa Jones and 1 McBurger in the end ‘cause I was too tired by Friday night and too busy by today’s evening. Other than that, at least two days of healthy food instead of no healthy food at all. Mi Band still fat-shames me with Obese II, but it’s kay, I’ll win anyway.
Haven’t touched books again. I guess I’m officially addicted to very good videogames-of-the-year, maybe because they provide more entertainment? Yknow, the audio-visual-action-ish experience.
Mkay. Future plans since I don’t have to ride the shotgun every evening to look after my wifey’s lover’s kitty now - get back into Python stuff and FCKING finish it already. Oof.

@theblessing today’s weather was stupefyingly beautiful at my place… but I’ve got bloody nose because it basically changed overnight. Drawbacks, drawbacks.
Anyway, good monday to you too =)

Finished “The Mistletoe Bride & Other Haunting Tales” by Kate Mosse.
I think 4/5. The reading was like a smooth sailing, the haunting was sufficient to spook me for just a right bit. But I was slightly, juuuust slightly bored (but somewhat constantly). Maybe I craved more action at this time of life, I dunno.
I don’t think it’s the author’s fault.

Anyway, recommend this one, grab it, read it.

@theblessing and a good day to you. Hope those autism videos won’t affect your positive outlook ;)

@trinsec oh my god lolz
And what about photos hanging upside-down, was this idea also greenlit?)
