Bbq chicken again today. This time no sauce- for once. Usually I have my meat covered in something- but I suppose a change of pace once in a while won't hurt. Unlike this heat.

Just when you think cup of noodles can't get any cheaper, you find some for half the price. These smell horrible btw. They also look sad and somewhat gray...

Messing with my #pinephone and trying to to get #mobian back up, but the modem won't show up in mmcli... In the meantime I checked what temps came off the phone! Turns out the hottest part of the phone isn't the battery- but the modem itself!

100*F in the shade at noon. Not fun.

Finally replaced the lcd on my #pinephone . Now I have questions about the underlying pcb...

Notes:::
-be careful peeling the black square thermal sticker; the ribbons underneath are stuck to it
-the smaller ribbon connectors with a small black part pointed towards the inside-> black part flips up
--the top ribbon connector opposite end of the camera gets tucked in before putting in the board or the aux jack will get in the way.
-lcd screen comes with a spare vol up/down/pwr connector and another black thermal sticker
-use xacto knife to gently peel off vibrator on the bottom right next to the mic.

Finally got my #pinephone lcd and screen protector. Don't know why it took 1 day to drive 1 hour, but at least it's here...
