Big tech will always try to monopolize and bastardize on the latest attempt to maintain privacy/freedom. That's why it's important that we be willing to discuss such important issues in public.

As for gpg- I can't recall vividly if it was pgp or gpg, but one of them was proven compromised. I'll look more into onemo, thanks for the tip!
