Hello! 👋🏻
If you don't already know us, we're Colin, Shaun, and Otis, better known as , and this is our to .

We have a channel where we explored the canals and rivers of the UK by before moving to to take in the mountains and islands of the .

We share our adventures and rural lifestyle on social media while campaigning for . It's nice to be here and we can't wait to get to know you! ♥️

Reminder to new folks here, like my good friends @foxesafloat .

Write an introduction, use the introduction hashtag, plenty of people follow it, you'll get some nice boosts and engagement from it.

There is no computer feeding you what it thinks you'll like, you need to engage with people and people need to engage with you. So fill up your feed by following some folks.

Search doesn't work unless you use hashtags, people can't find you, so make sure you use hashtags all over the place.

Because there's no machine to boost posts, make sure you Boost(retweet from the old world) to share the tweets you like with others. A favourite over here will show the user who wrote the toot you liked it but do nothing for their engagement with others so help them out with a boost.

If you're posting stuff that others might not want to see, like my habit of terrible political hot takes, use the CW button to hide the post behind a content warning.

There's far better guides that this kicking around, but if you're new here, this is a good starter for 10.

Welcome to a more relaxed, better engaged environment.

Day off at work today followed by at week or so of not doing too much due to thanks giving holidays so its time to catch up on those projects I've been meaning to get done and havent.

First up is finishing off the web crawler we wrote for a project and then never open sourced and shipped.

Secondly is catching up on a bunch of 2/3 done websites.

Then I've got a trip to Guildford to finish up a portal for UK planning application data.

I've got some drone testing to do to calibrate the multispectral camera I have.

A few short videos.

I'm sure there will be more. Busy few weeks.

Hot Take

I have noticed without an algo feeding me terrible tweets. I have far less hot takes and that can only be a good thing. 😎

Everyone please be aware that the service we used to use that provided tickers went down and doesnt plan to go back up.. This unfortunately slows down the default theme.

As such I switched the default theme to the no-ticket theme and this works just fine. However im not sure it will help for people already signed up on the server.

To fix the problem please go intto your preferences and change the theme to the no-ticket theme.

The other day I added preliminary M20 SHERLOC ACI calibration support to Mars Raw Utils master branch. Includes flats and margin cropping so far.

Currently on a QSR call at work where we're talking through the pipeline platform we're building at JPL

The other cool thing is that we're building it all in the open on , not a single Private Repository

Build space science platforms in the open!

Elno/Birdapp

I find it amazing that Elno after sacking half the staff then asks the other half to work crazy long hours on behalf of the worlds richest bro or they can also leave.

Hopefully the majority tell him to get stuffed and head off to somewhere new....

Enjoying a few days back in the office before travelling down to Guildford for a few days next week.

Quite looking forward to being at home for a while so I can get back to my boats, garden, cycling etc all of which has been horribly neglected the last few months.

OK, so we're nearing the new launch window of #ArtemisI (which opens at 10:04 p.m. Tues PT or 1:04 a.m. Wed ET)... let's take a little time to celebrate the awesomeness that is the Deep Space Network that will not only allow #NASA to track and communicate with the mission and its secondary payloads, but ALSO keep tabs on the dozens of other missions exploring the solar system right NOW: jpl.nasa.gov/news/how-nasas-de #DSN #scheduling #deepspace #communications

Well I'm not sure why but I seem to be getting quite a few followers.

Welcome!
