@magicaltrout WSL Linux guests get GPU passthrough with the latest version. Planning to roll this out to my team.

Super nerdy question but am I missing something here?

Are there any Windows desktop type 1 hypervisors that also have GPU support for a linux guest, since MS ditched it Hyper-V?

Having issues at work with where we're allowed to deploy EKS clusters but our security bods won't let us assign the OIDC connection without a support ticket and them doing it, which seems to be pretty much a dependency these days with pod security and persistent volumes requiring it which really slows stuff down.

And then when you're launching and tearing down EKS clusters as part of a test suite, it mega sucks.

Did you know that #Ingenuity sometimes bounces when landing?
Two reasons for that:
• Mars gravity is about 1/3 g
• The last few meters of a landing are almost in free fall, in order to minimize uncertainties caused by downward air hitting the ground, called the "ground effect". The flexible joints between the legs and the body help reduce the impact forces.

Here is the #MarsHelicopter bouncing on landing after flight 5 on Sol 76, or May 7, 2021 on Earth.

I forgot to share this the other week. Nothing groundbreaking but a little reminder to take care of myself.

I made this mental health discs. There are 15 of them and they sit on my desk. My aim is to spend 15 hours each week doing things that are good for me and not spending time sitting at my desk.

Things like, exercise, cooking, gardening, doing something with the kids, watching a film or catching up on some YouTubers or whatever. Just something a little difference that removes me from "work mode"

Things like mindlessly watching TV or playing games do not count.

It sits on my desk as a reminder and so far has been working well.

This cover of The Weight crossed my timeline tonight, I've never heard it before but the arrangement is absolutely outstanding, a wonderful cover of a great song. youtu.be/ph1GU1qQ1zQ

Can't believe the Teams app still doesn't support multiple orgs when Teams gets shoved down our throats, by multiple orgs.....

FML Discord. Hiding the channels, muting the channels etc when I can't leave them, is exactly why I don't want want notifications in my side bar. What the fuck is wrong with you?

The atmospheric earthworks of the deserted #medieval village of Nobold, Northants., first recorded in 1284.The hollowed main street runs down the centre of the photo. The bumpy earthworks of abandoned, rectangular house plots defined by ditches to the sides and back line both sides of the street. And the ridges of medieval cultivation are also clearly visible. 1/n

I've now smashed the screen on 2 Google Pixel Phones by having it in my pocket and trapping it between my thigh and my work chair.

I do feel a bit hard done by, its not like I tossed it across a room.

On the plus side, I give up and I've moved to a LightPhone II for ll my daily phone usage.

Wow! Beautiful. Crescent Earth! Acquisition of signal. The burn has been successfully completed. @NASA_Orion is coming home. "See you later," Moon. youtube.com/watch?v=ppxaKK9pap #Artemis

Spotify Wrapped

The problem I have with Spotify Wrapped is that song number 1, 5 and 6, whilst I enjoy I've not actually played all year, its just the recommended songs at the bottom of my playlist change so rarely if I let it go off the end, it just plays those songs every time pretty much.
