@stux the same happens with waterproof human skin, that's why we don't inflate like sponges when we take a bath 😅

The interesting there isn't the waterproofness of skin (all animals, burds, etc have that) but the skin is anti-hydrophilic which means it repels water so it doesn't gets wet.
