Filing taxes: 30 min.
Panic attack because you're terrified of doing it wrong and being labeled a fraud and having your life destroyed like the many others who have been crushed by the Dutch Tax Authority and years later still live with systemic debt oh fuck idk *wheeze* take all my money omg please just leave me alone: 2 hours.
Well this is cool! Using the #reMarkable, I uploaded some PDFs of fillable #dnd character sheets.
I only have the name “Cudgel” written in, but experimenting, I can add multiple layers, and then hide or show layers.
So... infinitely re-usable sheets.
Don’t know if I can copy a layer’s content, and I can’t copy pages of a PDF, so need to do a little more experimenting.
Day 5 of the #100DaysToOffload 2021 Series:
Google's recent announcement that they're going to be limiting 3rd party access to Chrome APIs has me a little nervous. It's probably unfounded, but if it's not, serves me right.
@onosovereign I just use the browser
Since there are 3GB replacement mainboards available now for the #pinephone I made a video on the process of replacing the board:
WooHoo, QOTO is trending on reddits r/engineering! It has been getting us a nice influx of new users too, cool!
For those interested and have the skills/desire to contribute. #pine64 dropped a development challenge for hardware.

Latest #ArchLinuxARM with #Phosh for the #PinePhone works surprisingly well, I'd dare to even call it "daily-driver worthy".
In particular power management around the modem has been vastly improved thanks to Megi's work and perhaps most importantly call audio quality is now free of crackling noise with the latest 5.9 kernel.
(pacman -Syu as the first thing after you flash)
Thanks to Danct12, Megi & the PinePhone community for the work they've been doing on the SW.
Some new goodies for #Plasma are landing on unstable by Solus Plasma and KDE maintainer Girtablulu at the moment! Get ready for an update of:
- QT 5.15.1
- #KDE Applications 20.8.2
- KDE Framework 5.75
- Plasma Desktop 5.20.1
🎉
But as always, if you use the unstable repo, wait to update until we give the okay inside our IRC development channel, it's gonna take a while to build everything. Stable repo is still obviously not affected. 😀
@humanetech there should be more awareness campaigns about the - crucial - difference between git the protocol and github the site. Github's more of a social network rather than code hosting with their "features"

Schools and open source:
"Why, after all, proprietary software developers offer gratis copies of their nonfree programs to schools? Because they want to use the schools to implant dependence on their products, like tobacco companies distributing cigarettes to school children. They will not give gratis copies to these students once they've graduated... Once you're dependent, you're expected to pay, and future upgrades may be expensive."

Aspiring System Admin, Software Developer, Network Administrator and/or Cyber Security Professional...in other words one day I'll know what I want to be when I grow up.
For now I tinker.
