This is quite possibly my favourite person to listen to during this crisis. He's a historian and philosopher who is actively spreading awareness of the threats of surveillance that could come long after the pandemic is over. He's also extremely positive in the way that he looks at the crisis saying that we are more prepared now than ever before.

@kev I use scrot and specify what quality I want with -q then optimise with ImageMagick.
magick image.png -strip -interlace Plane -sampling-factor 4:2:0 -quality 50% -define jpeg:dct-method=float -colorspace RGB result.jpg
I know you like to resize your images so they're however large your site's max-width is but I personally prefer to leave them and link to the image file. This way, viewers can zoom in and see more details if they want
