FWIW, I hope more Twitter clones appear because, at some point, users will STOP making accounts on all of them. And when that happens, they will be forced to find a way to exchange content with each other or in other words, FEDERATE, with each other.
Unless the future is dystopian, in which case, the owners will force them to become walled gardens, even at the cost of them becoming echo chambers.

So, weekend tally: The number of active users across Mastodon rose by 294K, and posting activity roughly tripled. Lots of new sign-ups, but also many returning users. Fun times!

There's a lot of talk about social media these days: #Twitter restrictions and changes, #Meta #Facebook launching #Threads.
And there's #Mastodon which is open & decentralized. That's why we became the first browser to have our own server here - #VivaldiSocial.
Vivaldi Social has no ads and your behavior is not tracked or analyzed for vested interests. It is all about what you like, who you want to follow and interact with. You have control. 
Is there any company who actually uses Jump (https://jump.dev/JuMP.jl/stable/) i.e. scalable MIPs in #julialang ?
I have mostly used #rstats for Mathematical Optimization. But might have to move over to #python sooner or later.
Though, the library I have used in R, was massively influenced by Jump Julia. But sadly, no one uses R for Operations Research.
