@JL_Lycette Thanks. Diagnosing prostate problems here that have been simmering for 8 months. Still no solid diagnosis. MRI next week.

My primary care physician and urologist have both told me we don't lose people to prostate cancer anymore.

They both know that I went through this with my stepfather in the early 1970s who did die of it. It was not pretty. It was real ugly.

Back then they worked on him and said that if the cancer stayed away for a year, he was cured. It stayed away for exactly a year and then metastasized. The last two weeks went as described in the movie "The Shootist", which we did at home: screaming pain and heavy opioid medication.

So I've been a bit agitated for the past 8 months over what's going on with me. Not happy.

The prostate is a very odd organ. Seems that more research work needs to be done on this.
