Any decision maker not subject to democratic control will eventually act against the common good and in favor of their own advantage.
All decision makers need to be subject to strong, direct and universal democratic control. Otherwise they'll not act in the interest of the commons consistently.
We need more democratic society, economy and state.
The European Commission has just announced an agreement whereby English will be the official language of the European Union rather than German, which was the other possibility.

Finished a jar of Aldi instant coffee today.
It's a glass jar with a plastic lid, which should last decades. So naturally I'm going to give it to some lads who'll crush it into tiny pieces, melt it down in a big oven and pour it into a mould to make a whole new jar.
That makes WAY more sense than just putting more coffee in the jar.

The #1 reason why they're pushing so hard to get everyone to get vaxxed is probably to make data like this go away by getting rid of the control group.
