"Approximately a quarter of eukaryotes are infected with the bacterium Wolbachia." !!!!!
"we show that Wolbachia infection supports fly development and buffers against nutritional stress. Wolbachia infection across several fly genotypes and a range of nutrient conditions resulted in reduced pupal mortality, increased adult emergence, and larger size."

The study suggests individuals really can't protect themselves from endemic #COVID19 without public health actions. "The reduction in contact rate required to limit the risk of infection under unmitigated SARS-CoV-2 transmission is likely to be unachievable for many individuals. This highlights the limitations of a public health 'individual responsibility' model focused on shielding as a practical strategy for limiting the health costs of COVID-19." https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2023.01.22.23284884v1.full

⚠️NEW ONSET AUTOIMMUNE DISEASE—New study in 640k patients shows that #SARSCoV2 infection leads to ⬆️43% increased risk of developing **new-onset autoimmune diseases** after acute #COVID19 over. Another autoimmune disorder also exacerbated ⬆️23%. Not good!

The virologists that confidently postulated herd immunity to sars cov 2 brazenly trodded on both fields of immunology and evolution
The most deadly misinformation was that there was a herd immunity by infection to SARS Cov 2
In its pursuit
And in its aftermath
It’s published here. It’s in T cells. It’s also in lymph nodes. Do the math. The preprint is a single piece of evidence and there are many others https://www.nature.com/articles/s41392-022-00919-x
Additionally, we are concerned with any changes that could explain an increased risk of other pathogens like published in the BMJ
However look here, in the paper there is a depletion of NK cells
T cells arent the only important immune cell
This third attempt to support the claim of no "Ongoing T cell aging in children" is an excellent piece of evidence to support T cell aging in children
Immature lymphocytes are turned over to contribute to an increase in naive T cells in acute infection

This also suggests that to properly assess lymphocyte aging in younger populations the immature lymphocyte counts must be analyzed
You are focused on the wrong cell population to observe the aging
There is possibly a depletion of immature lymphocytes in the convalescent
Yet another paper shows persistent immune activation and T cell aging in the tonsils of kids who had Covid
This study found persistent RNA authors claimed suggested persistent antigen and T cells showed markers consistent with chronic infection and aging
I still find myself arguing with denialists about apparent immune dysfunction when the racehorse is already out of the gate
Can't they appreciate they already lost the argument?
This is a fourth piece of evidence for the issue of ongoing insult and persistent antigen in the lymphatics
We have another part of the story of the problem with this lymphotrophic and persistent pathogen

When I warned covid was harming the immune system it was meant to be a warning before it was clinically appreciable

I spoke to an outstanding pediatric colleague today who termed omicron SARS-2 a Trojan horse in kids. Initial illness non-severe for the overwhelming majority of kids. Their concern is the downstream illness a few weeks later: infectious or immune.

There will be no good news about Covid for a long time.
Mass repeat infections will just make this all worse 👇🤬

Please boost if you can, I'm an ADHDer and autistic, and one of the most debilitating aspects in my neurodivergence is rejection sensitive dysphoria. This morning when reading an article on ADDitude, they said that some with RSD benefit with pharmaceutical interventions in the drug class of alpha agonists.
I'm interested in hearing from those who have RSD and have tried or are using an alpha agonist to help them with the effects of RSD. I'm at a point where I need help with it.
I like to know stuff
