Noteworthy reanalysis study to update this thread.

* [Serious adverse events of special interest following mRNA COVID-19 vaccination in randomized trials in adults](ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/)

>3.4. Harm-benefit considerations

>In the Moderna trial, the excess risk of serious AESIs (15.1 per 10,000 participants) was higher than the risk reduction for COVID-19 hospitalization relative to the placebo group (6.4 per 10,000 participants). [3] In the Pfizer trial, the excess risk of serious AESIs (10.1 per 10,000) was higher than the risk reduction for COVID-19 hospitalization relative to the placebo group (2.3 per 10,000 participants).

[Dr. Aseem Malhotra](semanticscholar.org/author/Ase) tells Joe Rogan that a reanalysis of Pfizer and Moderna's original clinical trial data shows that their COVID mRNA vaccines **INCREASE** your risks of serious adverse events, hospitalization, and death:

> This is the highest quality of scientific evidence. Joseph Fraiman is an ER doctor and clinical data scientist from Louisiana. Associate editor of the BMJ, Dr. Peter Doshi. Dr. Robert Kaplan from Stanford. Some real eminence of integrity published this reanalysis, and what they found was this. In the trials that led to the approval of regulators worldwide, you were more likely to suffer a severe adverse event from taking the vaccine, hospitalization, disability, or life-changing event than you were to be hospitalized with COVID.

@freemo

@thewk Yes! Pretty much never change licence prices, I first bought them for a small business upgrading from windows XP to Windows 7 back in 2011 and I thought that was crazy expensive back then. I remembered it vividly because guy selling me those licences said te me, "Oh, You don't have any other alternatives".
He was right in a sense, that Microsoft through MS Office has dominated the business market, and a perpetual Business MS Office starts around 350 bucks.

Another thing, they are a pain in the butt to manage as well, transferring one licence from one computer to another in nightmare.

@samuraikid The politicians who stood up against the vaccine mandates are a small group even if you add them up on an international level. which is quite scary if you think about. Thank God the truth has prevailed and that small group was able to slowly shift the narrative the right way.

@freemo @trinsec Whatever replacement you have in mind for Mastodon, I think it should have a personalized recommendation algo, on local instance feed and especially on a timeline since that feed is pretty much useless for now.

@samuraikid Wow, so rare to find a brave and honest politician.

If you live in the US, please tell your congresspeople that the EARN IT bill should not be considered. It would allow state governments to set up client-side scanning of photos and messages, bypassing encryption.

@Leszek_Karlik @kevinrns it sounds more like "Solar roadways" pipe dream then an actual thought-out engineering project.

@ed_hawkins The debate is not whether the climate change is real or not, but how we tackle fossil fuel emissions without destroying the economy which runs on fossil fuels and avoiding social turmoil. i.e. Sri Lanka (top ESG score before the collapse).

Keep in mind that most solutions proposed by climate change advocates are long term scams, delaying the transition to sustainable renewable energy and enriching legacy petrochemical corporations e.g. Green Hydrogen, Biomass, bio-fuels, carbon credit, etc.

@vwbusguy

That's exactly how my brain works, I don't think it's but a form of that the brain use to avoid boring chores and engaging in dopamine inducing "learning" videos. Sadly those videos will be forgotten in a couple a days.

Actual learning is more tedious and demand a lot focus, memorization and periodic training exercises.
