Yay we are starting to get some proper football on here,
I am part of an American Football team here in the UK, can't wait till the season starts, we are just training at the moment, I don't actually play I help out and do chain crew in the summer.

Yea. been popular here since the 80s https://www.britishamericanfootball.org/ just we are up against soccer and rugby mostly.
Of course a few british players have made it in to the NFL, and we have NFL games in London every year, with talk that the Jaguars want to move to London.
Nice thing about Football it is also inclusive we have 2 female players and 1 Trans player.
