I had to #block someone.

I'm not averse to blocking, sometimes I just block pillocks. You know, there's no loss; I won't follow them.

My recent posts about how Labour isn't worth voting for have received a small number of disagreeing comments advocating tactical voting.

Now, that's fine. We can discuss different opinions. But when I questioned this person's beliefs, they resorted to repeating Corbyn smears, the vast majority of which are fictitious or just flimsy.

And that I cannot abide.

@lydiaconwell IMHO, if someone is just annoying, muting is the way to go, as you won't have to see them ever again. Blocking is more of a preemptive safety measure (i.e., you don't want them to find you or your posts).

Again, all of the above is just my opinion, not some new unwritten rule of the Fediverse.
