Professor, even with higher taxes for the rich, there is no way of getting "Big money out of politics" in the type of democracy we currently have, i.e. a political system based on an undemocratic, profit-oriented, private property economy. To save humanity one has to build a cooperative new economy.

@Raven47 We could still do a lot better without rewiring the whole system (not saying that we should not).
The Supreme Court saying "speech is money," refusing campaign finance reform, and defining corruption as corruption only when the candidate publicly says there is a quid pro quo. Makes corruption inevitable.
But what can you expect from a bunch of paid-for rapists and perjurers.
