You can get away with pretending this does not exist on tiktok but twitter requires users to be able to read at least 20 words together

Will the murders never cease?
Are they men or are they beasts?
What do they ever hope
Ever hope to gain?
Will my country fall
Stand or fall?
Is it too late for us all?
And did Martin Luther King
Just die in vain?

“He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it,” King said. “He who accepts evil without protesting against it is really cooperating with it.”

On Dr. King's birthday, his far-seeing lost lectures on technology and the 3 ways of resisting the system themarginalian.org/2021/10/07/

Stop playing the “I Have A Dream” portion of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.‘s speech. Some in the news media, etc. who play that portion of the speech and some politicians who repeat that portion of the speech are the same people who spit in his eye and yours the other 364 days of the year. The entirety of that Aug 28, 1963 speech must be played. #MLK #BlackMastodon #MLKJr #MLKDay #Mastodon

The reality today is "racial tipping points" evident in the actions of both the left and the right. This is obvious to see. Just walk my neighborhood.

CNN: 'I Have a Dream' is MLK's most radical speech — not because of what he said then, but because of how America has changed since.

The false belief that just won’t die from those using AIDS as a mental model is that immunodeficiency = opportunistic infections. It’s not true. Most immunodeficiency syndromes will usually present with any one of these👇🏻 signs (ie freq common infections):

The claim “long covid” is single-digit percentages is wrong

If your expert claimed
1) delta will end the pandemic
And
2) novelty is the cause of viral severity

Then they are not someone you should be citing. They are strategically positioned to downplay

This is consistent with the model we put out. That the immune aging predisposes to a response characteristic of an aged immune system

I can’t remember the last time two Black female sideline reporters for the same network appeared in the same game in the NFL, let alone in the NFL Playoffs. Perhaps because this may be the first time it has ever happened. The legendary Pam Oliver and Kristina Pink representing! Great to see! #BlackMastodon #Mastodon #nfl

Musk has lost his effort to relocate a trial from SF to Texas over claims of a "tainted" jury pool. Judge sided with prosecution, who said: "What they refer to as 'biased' coverage is, in fact, factual reporting about his management of Twitter, Inc., and has no bearing on the jury's ability to render a fair verdict. If 'negative' attention was all that was required to disqualify a jury pool, Musk would effectively be untriable before a jury given his knack for attracting 'negative' coverage."

Turned on @KALX yesterday and heard ABBA, Donna Summer, Cher and Aretha Franklin. DJ came on and said, "That's what my mother likes." Afrobeat or some such followed. That is why I love KALX.

Everyone that said this was not the case, or “nonsense,” needs to hand in their public intellectual card

Interestingly there was a significantly excess burden of streptococcal tonsillitis-post COVID- a risk that persisted at least up to 8 months post-COVID, peaking at 6 months post-COVID. Not that these grps are adjusted for socio-economic status - so this can't explain it.
