Just got a conditional accept in Sociological Science!
Why may offline population inclusion via internet equipment not make a difference for survey outcomes? Our thoughts:
a) offline population is just too small to make a difference
b) "true" non-internet users are unwilling to be equipped
c) recruited offliners turn into onliners

We looked at > 100 papers on flaws of specific predictive optimization applications. Seven recurring clusters emerged. Given the technical architecture of predictive optimization (vs other forms of automated decision making) we show that this is exactly what we should expect. That made us ask: does *every* predictive optimization application have these flaws? We picked 8 case studies based on prevalence and impact on people.
