I'm on the search for logbooks of merchant ships that visited Jamaica in the 1700s. The National Maritime Museum in London and the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, MA, both have significant collections and are on my radar already.

My question is: does anyone know of any other particularly good archives that I should be checking out for maritime manuscripts?
