@MrsMouse I always love a good mystery, but lately I've been on a sci-fi kick. Just finished "The Stand" and I'm making my way through "Dune" for the first time. My all time favorite comfort book is "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society".

I'm Dan - I started building interactive 3D tools for #neuroscience this year. So far, I've built a neuropixels planning tool https://github.com/VirtualBrainLab/Pinpoint and a python API for rendering exploratory data visualizations that involve the mouse brain https://github.com/VirtualBrainLab/Urchin. Currently a postdoc @ UW

👩🔬 I am a PhD candidate in the University of Pennsylvania’s #Neuroscience Graduate Group working in systems/computational neuroscience. My work uses neural data and computational modeling to study our incredible capacity to remember what we see.
📝 In addition to doing my own science, I’m enthusiastic about #scienceCommunication. Over the last year or so I’ve had the opportunity to learn and write about lots of fascinating neuroscience research (https://catrinahacker.com/writing.html).
