@MrsMouse I always love a good mystery, but lately I've been on a sci-fi kick. Just finished "The Stand" and I'm making my way through "Dune" for the first time. My all time favorite comfort book is "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society".

Looking forward to sharing this work - tomorrow (Nov 8, Tuesday, 8a EST / 3p IST) at BIU in Isreal, from Philly.

#introduction post!

I'm Dan - I started building interactive 3D tools for #neuroscience this year. So far, I've built a neuropixels planning tool github.com/VirtualBrainLab/Pin and a python API for rendering exploratory data visualizations that involve the mouse brain github.com/VirtualBrainLab/Urc. Currently a postdoc @ UW

Get in touch if you think about science data visualization, I'm looking for ideas for the next great tool to contribute to or start building!

👩‍🔬 I am a PhD candidate in the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate Group working in systems/computational neuroscience. My work uses neural data and computational modeling to study our incredible capacity to remember what we see.

📝 In addition to doing my own science, I’m enthusiastic about . Over the last year or so I’ve had the opportunity to learn and write about lots of fascinating neuroscience research (catrinahacker.com/writing.html).

🎲 Outside science I love reading, running, biking, and playing games. I’m always looking for a great new book to read or game to play!
