I agree. There are however generational trends where families get stuck in a poverty trap.

Education, health, a secure home, education, self esteem.. because an affordable citizen basic lifestyle is the criterion to judge a successful economy.
Once that is achieved we can afford billionaires, millionaires and greedy tories.

5 immigration. We control our borders [not so easy when you do not collaborate]
6 worker shortages
7 UK could have easily aligned EU FoM with common wealth immigration
