Ученые из Китая разработали новый тип батарей, который является альтернативой литий-ионным моделям и полностью изготовлен из алюминия. Эта алюминиевая батарея способна выдерживать до 10 000 циклов зарядки.Литий-ионные батареи активно применяются в смартфонах, электровелосипедах и электромобилях. Тем не менее они относительно дорогие в изготовлении. В то же время, алюминиево-ионные батареи рассматриваются как перспективная замена, хотя на данный момент они не оправдали ожиданий, особенно в аспектах долговечности и эффективности.
Китайские исследователи утверждают, что они достигли значительного прорыва: их новая алюминиевая батарея может выдерживать до 10 000 циклов зарядки, при этом теряя менее одного процента своей емкости. Для сравнения, литий-ионные аккумуляторы, в зависимости от их качества изготовления и области использования, обычно способны на 500-1000 циклов зарядки, прежде чем их емкость опустится ниже 90 процентов. Прорыв в длительности циклов зарядки стал возможен благодаря использованию специального твердого электролита. В исследовании применяется соединение фторида алюминия с уникальной структурой, что облегчает движение ионов алюминия и, как следствие, повышает проводимость.
Алюминиевая батарея выдерживает удары и температуру до 200 C. Для сравнения, большинство литий-ионных батарей функционируют при температурном диапазоне от -20 C до 60 C. Еще одним важным достоинством новой разработки является ее возможность вторичной переработки. Фторид алюминия легко восстанавливается и может быть использован повторно для создания новых батарей.По мнению китайских исследователей, новые аккумуляторы особенно подходят для крупных систем хранения энергии в электросетях. В будущем они могут стать безопасным и экономически эффективным способом хранения энергии, получаемой от солнца и ветра. Также в дальнейшем алюминий может стать #альтернативой литию для #электромобилей и мобильных устройств, при условии дальнейшей оптимизации технологий и их готовности к #коммерческому использованию.
