So a 10 year old stealing sweets is old enough to know better and go to jail, but a 21 year old wearing the uniform of an organisation that murdered millions is just young and foolish. Maybe 10 year olds should start wearing Nazi uniforms. #auspol

Important for context here - if Elon has deliberately killed off 3rd-party apps without warning - (it seems so) - he's actually probably killed a great many jobs at these 3rd-party studios.

He'd effectively be sacking Twitter employees AND non-Twitter employees.

Perrottet Nazi

If you think that in 2002 nobody took a photo of Dominic Perrottet in his Nazi uniform, I have a bridge that I would like to sell to you.

It will come out, possibly on the day he launches his campaign

Here's the incredibly code of conduct breaking post that got me banned from aus.social:

I've read the Indigenous Voice final report. The government Voice to Parliament bodies as proposed are a great idea and should be implemented.

I don't see any need for referendum, and the racist commentary about it is a good reason not to have one. The Voice to Parliament can be fully implemented without a referendum or a constitutional change.

If there is a referendum on a constitutional change, the exact words to be added to the constitution must be set in stone and finalised before Australians vote on them. The details of the voice body can be set and changed afterwards, but the words for the constitution shouldn't.

@Jinjirrie
As a non-indigenous Australian, I concede that I'm probably subconsciously racist. While not a cure-all, the Voice is one step in the right direction
"... the Constitution will never not be racist, just as Australia as it stands will never not be racist ... I don’t think Constitutional Reform could ever be the balm to solve that, and yet potentially a Voice, could provide us with one weapon, if we can figure out the best way to use it."

I DON'T WANT SELF DRIVING CARS!!!!

✔️ I want boring things like public transit that comes so regularly I don't need to check a schedule.

✔️ I want fast passenger rail so accessible and easy it's preferable to suffering airports.

✔️ I want cities that aren't built around cars-as-default

✔️ I want the country to own it.

All wealth is created in the act of manufacture of a good or delivery of a service.

Money does not create money, it merely gives power to those who have previously used an establishment system to acquire it from those whose labour created it, to further appropriate more of it from them.

The neoliberal concept of worthiness of the wealthy as such & the unworthiness of those who are not greedy & grasping is obviously an entire inversion of all moral values for ever.

But they own the governments & they own the press, hence they own everything, everyone.

Why do I need to say this?

“South Australia continues its record-breaking run on renewables, with wind and solar contributing just over 85% (85.4%) of the state’s electricity demand for the month of December.”

It wasn’t long ago that the #coalition was bucketing the use of renewables, particularly in South Australia.

I wouldn’t hold my breath for a mea culpa.

Among those fired: "eight people who moderated content on the platform in order to catch posts that broke its rules against incitement to violence and misinformation."

If Australia doesn’t become a republic after the dysfunctional soap opera we’ve seen on display in the UK recently, we really need to stop pretending this country has any spine at all. The French had the right idea in 1789. Get the Union Jack out of our flag for good.

No one could’ve predicted that weak accountability for right-wing insurrectionism would embolden more right-wing insurrectionists.
