I have reported this fake account, where someone is impersonating me in many comments using my photos & bio to promote their writing. If this indieauthors.social account replied to you, don’t be duped.

Aside from reporting, there’s little I can do, but welcome any #tips. This happened on #Twitter & it’s disappointing to see it again here. But on social media, so it goes.

This is a blog post by the admin of mastodon.se where they acknowledge that they have 'anti-political-correctness' accounts, anti-abortionists, harassers, etc. (there are neo-nazi adjacent accounts on there), saying they won't action their accounts because they don't want to be the 'thought police'.

As these kinds of accounts directly threaten the safety of the marginalised people on .art, we'll be defederating.

This is #Zelensky as he was dressed to speak to a joint session of the US Congress. A military commander-in-chief wearing what amounts to dress battle fatigues with the crest of his nation. It's obvious this was the image he wanted to project.

In a saner society, every one of these Republican culture war gambits would be recognized for what they are: red herrings. Use of red herrings means you've conceded the main argument. That is, if you have any self-respect or dignity.

People on the left often make the mistake of trying to seriously engage the red herring instead of just shaming the person for being obtuse and intellectually dishonest
