Certain belief in the nonexistence of free will (because our current physics “proves” this) is similar to certain belief in the existence of an omnipotent god. Both remove human agency and responsibility, for reasons of preference of a worldview.

I totally forgot about this interview, but what I said seems to make sense: the binary distinction between biology and technology may at some point cease to apply. dailygalaxy.com/2022/11/alien-

Part of what we’re up against.
(We here meaning humans and the current biosphere…) A concerted Saudi effort to delay & prevent progress getting off fossil fuels.

Sure many of us have complicated feelings about Artemis, as partially documented here:

Oh my.

Joel Greenberg's lawyer is pretty pissed about Matt Gaetz not being indicted, and he's put it in writing.

The rare and aggressive move calls out the DOJ for trying to destroy the life of a local corrupted tax official who snitched on his buddies—Joel Greenberg—but not pursuing a criminal case against the popular, rich Republican congressman who allegedly took part in the drugs and paid for sex with a teenager.

Hello! Just got here and I'm checking it out. This is my first "toot". I am interested in science (specialize in space science, planetary exploration, astrobiology but interested in all of it), music (play guitar: rock african, reggae, funk...), politics, nature and humor... among other things!

Here is a picture of my dog Jasper:

Enchanting new photo from Perseverance Rover on Mars, shows large rounded river rocks piled up in eroded bank in outflow to the delta. Best evidence we've seen yet for really voluminous flooding. These boulder were rounded by rushing water, transported to this pile, cemented and later excavated. What a world!
