Why in the world does Congress have to authorize borrowing for spending that it has already approved?

Here’s a suggestion... Abolish the debt ceiling.

This isn't new & thats the biggest problem/ The @USDOL Whistleblower Protection Program spent decades working adversarially to it's mandate.

It's supposed to enforce whistleblower protections in 20+ federal statutes - instead, it harasses whistleblowers for big biz.

Seems plausible to me that there could fewer security checks for launching nukes than an office worker encounters just trying to check their email.
