Social media has taught me a couple of things. First, there are some incredibly brilliant people in the world. Second, they are vastly outnumbered.

I've been tutoring the granddaughter of an ex-girlfriend in science and maths. Her 4-year-old brother came in as we were starting, and I was amazed when he said he learned "R" at school today... Then I realised he meant the letter and not the statistical scripting language I use at work. 😍
