The most shocking thing about my experiment having LLMs generate multiple responses to an assignment prompt of mine is how many repeats I am getting. At a sample of only 50 responses ChatGPT, GPT-4, and Bard all produce multiple examples of the same article.

These are not cached responses, I don't think. They are repeat generations. Slightly different but the same in broad outlines, as if two students had plagiarized the same source in a clever way.
