But releasing the footage EXCLUSIVELY to a Jan. 6 denier like #TuckerCarlson? That is as insane as appointing Marjorie Taylor Greene to the Homeland Security Committee.

We will have crossed the Rubicon with #GenerativeAI when one can ask a particular system to generate a new programming language to interface with an #AI construct and it does not return with examples sourced from different languages. It does a reasonable job of approximating what passes for a new language. But, it remains a pattern generator.

@KarlBode First thoughts just skimming the first few paragraphs (I'm busy with something else): it's kinda mind-blowing how someone at the Times looked at "grow by $5 billion by 2026" and thought "Yeah, this isn't pitiful at all for a purported big market of the future, and also is totally on-par and not inflated at all given what's going on with cryptocurrency".

I've been struggling with this myself, so I thought I'd repeat it for other people that might be dealing with the same thing:

Not every hobby needs to be a project. Not everything needs to be a whole *thing* with a goal and an endpoint. It's okay to not finish something. It's okay to pick up something for a bit, explore it, start making something, and then drop it without making any "progress".

Productivity is capitalist bullshit that doesn't need to infect your free time too. Have some fun
