One positive thing about social media is that it has helped to make ex-Christians somewhat more visible. I can relate to many of their stories. It is nice to be able to find others and realize that we aren't alone. Seeing others also has a normalizing effect. Maybe some who haven't left will realize that there are other options besides staying put.
