Been in the Uk for a few days. The extent to which the place is coming apart at the seams is alarming. Trains don’t work. Ambulances don’t work. Post doesn’t work. Electricity is a luxury good. It feels like a fairly advanced stage of terminal decline.

The answer is a return to social democracy and EU membership, but no political parties are advocating either because trying to halt this decline is, itself, seen as toxic.

It appears that Elon’s jet has dumped another 38 tons of CO2 flying from the Gulf to a refuelling stop north of London so I guess it will dump another 40 tons or so completing the return trip to the US after getting his ear bent by one of his biggest investors. Oiks like you and me are blamed for an average CO2 footprint of around 4 tons per year so the man baby has wasted 40 years of my carbon footprint on this round trip to see a football match he didn’t look interested in.

These court warrants en masse show a disgraceful lack of due diligence & care. What reasoning is behind each warrant? Why are they rushed through without proper verification? How are they even allowed in the first place? They must be banned immediately.

Gasunie set to oversee Dutch North Sea hydrogen network plan.
"After 2030, a significant share of energy from windparks will be transformed into hydrogen and brought to shore with pipelines, because over these long distances transport of hydrogen is more efficient than transporting electricity", said
Minister Jetten in his letter to parliament.
I'd add that this is particularly relevant at times when wind + solar production exceeds direct electricity demand.
