Here's a meeting on Monday, you might want to avoid:
The “national conservatism” conference in London, where speakers include Suella Braverman, Jacob Rees-Mogg, Michael Gove and Lee Anderson.
Its hard to imagine a more focussed band representing everything that is wrong with UK #politics right now....
Its got it all, hypocrisy, vileness, mendacity & incompetence.
Just another #Brexit benefit: you now need to fill in a customs declaration to post applications to the European Court of Human Rights.

Just in case anyone didn’t know, the police are currently arresting anyone peacefully protesting against the coronation and its lavish extravagance during a time of national need.
Currently. Arresting. Peaceful. Protestors.
This is not my country. This is a dystopia.

This description of brexit voters deserves to gain traction !
(Paragraph 4)
#Australian Who Died in Ukraine Remembered by His Lera

Under the Tory sham of a plan 💩 dumping would continue for decades to come & households will be forced to pay more for non-delivery.
@uklabour’s Bill will end the Tory #SewageScandal ensuring that it’s polluters who pay the price for failure.
Will Tory MPs vote for more 💩?
"Cumbrian village suffered 321 sewage spills in past year."
EA said “The assessment found that the pumping station was spilling in dry weather in breach of its permit.”
Lets hope the case of John Price provides a little inspiration for what to do next.
"Wild swimming: 12 tips on how to swim in UK rivers and cut the risk of getting sick from pollution."
What a world we are living in that a national newspaper has to provide this kind of advice.
And @defragovuk. @ofwat & @envagency do what exactly?
"And the water company gave “incorrect information” on its website after news of the contamination was published in the national press."
What, a water company trying to mislead its customers, surely not?
#DominicRaab - an entitled alpha male, out of his depth, lashing out at people he thinks are to blame for his own inadequacy is annoyed that he's been found out;
lets just move on, agree that he is emblematic of a form of toff-related #toxicmasculinity & accept that we have major problems in this country that idiots like Raab (and his #Tory associates have no interest in solving).
The bigger problem we have is how to stop them getting near the levers of power... but this is an old challenge!
A medical degree gave me working enjoyment , the Open University allowed me to develop maths and physics because we know the rest is (essential) stamp collecting .A lifelong learner , it’s fun .We need less men in suits in charge.
