This absolutely true and it only goes to prove how fantastically gullible the US voter is!

The GOP tells voters they are the party of fiscal responsibility then they rip-off the poor and the middle classes in the USA, to give tax cuts to billionaires!

Ironic. Were it not for Bidenomics fixng the economy, the Trump economic disaster might have reached bottom already. The same pattern repeats over and over. The GOP siphon drains the public stores to enrich billionaires. Dems get the stores replenished. The GOP siphons them. Repeat.

Paul Krugman:

"So basically Trump has backed down in his confrontation with China. If this was a trade war, China won.

This whole confrontation has been a demonstration of Chinese strength and American weakness. Add in the way that Trump has alienated our allies, and it seems fair to say that America is no longer the world’s leading power.

You might say that he ceded the future to China in return for a hill of (soy)beans."

TV license enforcement. They came knocking on my door back in the 1980s spitting fire and telling me that there was no TV license at my address to which I replied "there's no TV either!". The fückin tosser wanted to search the house for a TV so I immediately agreed "Sure you can search the whole house all you have to do is to show me your search warrant. Unless you have one of those you can fück right off. (two can play at having an attitude problem) then I put the door in his face!

@JackTheCat I keep getting those addressed to the "current occupier". I don't occupy a current and don't have a telly so they go straight in the bin unopened.

It does rather sound like he was much more frank with the king than he was with the public at large - either that or there is evidence that we as mere commoners have not been permitted to see!

I saw a royal commentator suggest on TV that Andrew might end up in prison - I find that a bit hard to believe - on what charge?

@HarriettMB @JackTheCat

I think that's dangerous road to venture down. People in politics have to feign liking; admiration even, for the most odious of people (trump for example). Guilty just for associating goes way, WAY too far!

I met trump once - am I guilty of the horror of all his crimes by association?

@JackTheCat

Interesting - Mandelson is openly gay so does this indicate the Epstein was trafficking boys as well as girls? If so this is a new angle that so far, has received zero publicity!

Or is merely being associated with Epstein enough to justify the sort of public humiliation endured by "Andrew Moutbatten-Windsor"; the latter being explicitly named by one of Epstein's victims. So have any victims named Mandelson?

not to mention the fact that they will be the prime targets for Russian hacking and sabotage as the war for Ukraine/the west hots up

amazon and azure having massive outages a week apart is inauspicious and the fact that they’re both companies going all-in on replacing expertise with chat bots is conspicuous

It is fucking shameful that Keir Starmer just told Labour MPs they could not vote against Farage’s bill aiming to remove the UK from the ECHR.

There’s no such thing as the “genuinely disabled”

Disability is dynamic

Some disabilities are invisible. Some change day to day

You won’t always know a person is disabled unless they tell you

It’s a minority group you can join at any time, not a moral failing.

Hey everyone! I'm looking to get #FediHired as a (senior) #RustLang developer!

If your team needs some additional people power, feel free to DM me and I'd love to have a talk or send my resume!

I'm well versed in most areas, from low level system/ #Linux / #Embedded stuff, all the way to high abstraction full stack web stuff!

✨ Boosts appreciated! ✨

This is some kind of joke! These fückin cünts of enforcement officers went way, WAY beyond what was necessary in this case. On my watch all the 'enforcement officers' would be summarily dismissed for abuse of authority!

@JackTheCat

I think the whole thing was set up as a publicity stunt BUT someone did get killed and I'm guessing that wasn't supposed to happen!
