Atheist; loathe almost all religions and pity the people deluded enough to follow them. I make exceptions for Buddhism as it isn't really a religion in the strictest sense of the word as it doesn't postulate the existence of any god, and Jainism which is the epitome of peace.
For anyone who is interested, my header photo is of the most stupendous sunset I have ever seen. On the right is the waterfront of Vientiane, the capital of Laos, on the left is Thailand and in the middle, acting as the border between the two countries is the mighty Mekong river.

The team I worked on tried to introduce Scrum. The main problem was that the guy who got appointed as Scrum leader (coordinator - head honcho or whatever) never turned up much before midday and the daily meetings were held at 09:00. So the guy who was supposed to be hosting them was never there!
He should have been fired for abysmal timekeeping but that didn't actually happen until 2 years later when the management finally realised he wasn't actually doing the hours he was claiming!

My 'alma mater' owned a huge chunk of the town of Eastbourne. It doesn't bear thinking about the amount of money that the town is losing in income due to the charitable status rules on educational establishments. I'd screw them for every last penny!
I'm delighted that they have done this!
...and no it isn't sour grapes at all - I was privately educated myself!
To me the whole idea of a separate privileged educational system for the very well heeled is unspeakablly unjust!

Yes, if you look at the figures, the US economy grows apace under Democrat administrations and hits the rocks the moment the Republicans are elected. Somehow the extreme right wing who dominate the media in the USA and elsewhere lie through their back teeth about this and manage to convince the average American voter that black is white!

The average US male appears to have an absolutely prehistoric attitude to women verging on the thoroughly disgusting!
I suspect that is why Trump is unaccountably popular even though he has been ajudged as a rapist and guilty of serious sexual assaults, not to mention a convicted fraudster! Those are activities that the average American Joe regards as aspirational!
